Studio Carta was founded by Angela Liguori in 2004. Originally from Rome, Angela conceptualizes, designs, and sources high-quality custom ribbon, products, and accessories made exclusively in Italy using materials and practices that date back to the nineteenth century.

Crafted in Italy as a reproduction of a 19th-century design, these tempered steel scissors are designed for precision cutting. With finely engraved details on the gold handle and sharp blades, the tools are meant for fine detailed work and crafts. A thin layer of 24-karat gold is applied to the scissors to give them their beautiful finish. Each pair is etched with the Studio Carta logo on the blade and is packaged in a letterpress paper label and clear bag.
