Safari Canvas Campaign Wine Cooler & Wash Stand

Sale price$390.00

The Canvas Campaign Wash stand is a traditional design used on African Safaris for a brisk wash after awakening from a restful night’s sleep under canvas. However, it also makes an excellent cooler for a bottle of wine or bubbly!

The standard finish for a Canvas Wash Stand is oil, suitable for use indoor or out of doors. The scissor legs slot into the cups of the canvas bag and as more weight in the form of water or wine is added so the stability of the stand improves. The crossed brace support on the legs makes them very stable.  Folds for easy storage or transport.

Your oiled Canvas Wash Stand or Wind Cooler receives two applications of furniture oil prior to delivery. We recommend you re-apply when the finish looks faded or dry. The recommended application procedure is as follows:

  • Use a clean cotton cloth or soft bristled brush dipped in the oil and apply in light, short strokes, ensuring thorough and even distribution of the oil.
  • Leave the oil on the furniture for at least 1 to 2 hours (but not more than 24 hours), to allow absorption into the wood.
  • Use a clean cotton cloth and wipe off all excess liquid to leave a natural smooth finish.
  • Allow to dry for approximately 24 hours.
